Job Announcement:

Full-stack Ruby-on-Rails Software Developer, Future Majority

Future Majority is searching for an experienced full-stack engineer with expertise in Ruby-on-Rails to help us develop our organizing and get-out-the-vote platform. We need some engineering support throughout the election and this position will require approximately 20-40 hours per week. The pay range is $35-$50/hour and is based on experience.

The work is internal facing (e.g. creating internal user interfaces and the back end infastructure)

Qualifications

• At least one year's worth of experience with Ruby on Rails
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
• Experience with Twillio and Mandrill/Sendgrid/Mailgun's (or comparable) APIs are a plus
• Strong experience building user interfaces in JavaScript es6
